Let's start with the basics

Navigation Icons Overview

Once you login to your profile, you must have seen this at the bottom of your screen. Let me give you a quick rush through on the icons:

  1. Home: This is where you can see your content, upload new pictures and videos
  2. Profile: This is a see-through of how your account will be visible to any fans clicking on your link
  3. Dashboard: A very important feature for every creator. Keep a track of all your weekly earnings, payout status and much more.
  4. Notifications: Stay updated on every single interaction from fans, everything from purchases, subscription and even comments
  5. Inbox: This is where you get to talk and interact with your fans and even earn from text interaction.

Four Types of Content You Can Upload

Now the most basic thing to begin with earning through exclusive content sales. And before that know about the four types of content you can upload on your feed:

  1. Subscription post: These posts are only available to fans who have purchased your subscription. Any content uploaded under subscription will be visible to them till their subscription period is active.
  2. Pay per views: These posts are the ones that have a separate price for every single post. Even subscribers cannot see it unless they pay and unlock that particular post.
  3. Free posts: As the name says, they are free posts which serves as a sample to what fans will see if they subscribe or unlock PPVs.
  4. Timer posts: Timer posts are the most exclusive ones that disappear from your feed permanently once the set time runs out. This creates a sense of urgency and exclusivity.

Recommended posting schedule: A good account will usually have around 1 subscription post a week, at least 5 PPVs a week. 1 Timer post per week as well. And just 1 free sample rarely. (6:1::PPV: Subscription)

How to Post Content

Now that you know about the different posts. How do you post? Here's how you do it:

  1. Click on the profile icon
  2. You'll be able to see this section called "Write something" on top of the screen, that's where you write your eye-catching captions.
  3. The first gallery like icon is where you click to upload the picture or video of your choice
  4. Once the content is uploaded and the caption is written. The third icon, ie 🔒 decides if the post is for subscribers or for free. If the lock is open 🔓, the post is free. If it's is closed 🔒, the post is to be for subscribers only.
  5. If you prefer to upload the content under PPV, click on the second icon, ie price tag 🏷️. Enter the coin value of your choice. (Indian users, 1 INR= 1 Coin)
  6. If you want to post a timer post, click the last icon , set the price and date of expiry.
  7. Once you decide the type of post and complete this, click on the Publish button to upload the post.
